Group work can be a powerful and valuable venue for healing and growth. It provides an opportunity to “be heard” and be supported by others who are struggling with similar circumstances. It provides a supportive environment to experiment with new skills and new way of being. In lieu of that, at this time Advance is in the process of developing groups and workshops for individuals and couples. Stay tuned for exciting announcements this year!
“Having participated in Katya’s Tango Workshop, I was able to experience the benefits that this kind of embodied work can provide. The movement exercises were a provocative entryway into the mind/body connection. They revealed the ways in which the body holds psychological distress. Along with her keen intelligence and sensitivity, Katya uses this body awareness to help heal psychological wounds bringing to her clients increased relaxation, peace, and well-being.”
